MCE’s Transportation & Stormwater Management Department provides engineering services to various cities and counties throughout Arkansas, and the surrounding states. Our professional services include accurate scoping of projects, geometric design of transportation facilities, streetscapes, sidewalks, multiuse trails, signalized intersections, roundabouts, traffic data collection and analysis. We provide stormwater collection system analysis and design, retention/detention pond evaluation and design, assistance with the procurement of contractors and project support, by way of construction observation/administration.

In addition to these design services, we are mindful of project budgets and provide valuable support by way of cost estimating and value engineering. We are conscious of the need to remain innovative, to change and adapt, to accommodate different modes of mobility, to ensure sustainability within our designs and to reduce the impact on the environment.

Our transportation team’s services benefit our clients based on the needs and issues cities and governmental agencies face; whether it be the rehabilitation of existing infrastructure or expanding the current network to meet the demands of increasing population, or helping meet the need to promote a more balanced quality of life.
