MCE’s aviation department provides airport engineering services to over 25 individual airport clients including both general aviation airports and commercial service airports.

Having worked with a large number of airports, MCE has had the opportunity to work with a variety of airport types and sizes. The airports we have assisted range from some of the largest in the region – Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport and Texarkana Airport – to some of the smallest general aviation airports which operate with only a few aircraft. We’re proud of this breadth of experience and we appreciate the vital roles general aviation airports serve in transportation networks.
MCE has dedicated engineers and designers that specialize in aviation design services and understand the unique requirements at airports to meet Federal, State, and Local requirements for airport project design, grant assurances, and safety requirements for construction of airfields.

All of MCE’s aviation team has completed the FAA’s Airport Planning Criteria (FAA course #06401). We attend Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and Arkansas Airport Operators Association (AAOA) conferences as well as attend all Arkansas Division of Aeronautics (ADA) meetings. This allows our team to stay current on important issues that impact the airports we represent.
